SEDC Video Contest 2015
It's time to get a little creative, laugh a little, maybe show us your dramatic side, and best of all win CASH PRIZES that can be used for anything you choose: an employee party, a treadmill for your break room (yes, it's been done), or charitable contributions within your local community.
There's $10,000.00 in prizes, but you have to enter to win. What are you waiting for?
You DON'T have to be a world famous CINEMATOGRAPHER to ENTER and WIN. The only requirements are a desire to have fun and, of course, a little competitive spirit.
THIS YEAR'S THEME: A Day in the Life of Our Utility...If We Didn't Have SEDC
We hear all the time that SEDC's software has made a difference - whether it's our Mobile Workforce tools, our Work Management module, the Mobile Apps, or even our Billing Ledger Inquiry. Now tell us what your day would be like if you didn't have these tools! What if your field crews didn't have their laptops? What if your customers couldn't pay online? Be a little creative... we'd love to see what you come up with!
Requirements
Rules and Guidelines
Participants must be current users of SEDC utility enterprise software.
Videos must be less than three (3) minutes in length and must be submitted in one of the following formats: QuickTime/MOV, WMV, MPEG, or AVI. The recommended minimum dimensions are 640 pixels wide by 360 pixels high.
Winners of the First, Second, and Third Place prizes will be determined solely based on the number of votes cast on the contest site.
The message of the video should be both creative and positive. There should be no derogatory material in the video toward any individual, group, or product. Any item submitted that is deemed derogatory will be disqualified.
The video must incorporate SEDC products, support or sales being spoken of and/or the SEDC logo being shown. The video may also include the same for SEDC's subsidiaries, Arista Information Systems, Inc. and Futura Systems, Inc.
The video should not contain any advertisements or endorsements of any kind and must not infringe on any third-party rights.
All entries must be uploaded to SEDC's Video Contest page at http://contests.viddler.com/SEDC/--328 in order to be eligible for voting. Uploads will be accepted from Monday, October 19, 2015, until Friday, November 20, 2015.
Every participant in the video must have signed the SEDC Publicity Release Form. Fax the completed form to Attn: Video Contest at 770-414-1122 or scan and email the form to news@sedata.com.
Video(s) and release forms are due by 11:59 PM EST on November 20, 2015. Late entries will not be accepted.
The video must be original work and not previously submitted for any contest or event.
Upon entry into the contest, the video becomes the sole property of Southeastern Data Cooperative, Inc. (SEDC).
The judges' decisions and voting outcomes are final.
Winners must provide copies of the original video files to receive cash award.
Prizes will be distributed to the General Manager/CEO at each winning utility.
