Speak Truth To Power Elementary PSA Contest
Contest participants must choose one Article from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and create a 60 - 90 second Public Service Announcement (PSA). We are looking for student submissions that creatively teach others about a human rights issue. The format is open to documentary, stop motion, narrative, digital photo essay or other innovative explorations that involve filmmaking components.
Requirements
STUDENTS WILL CHOOSE ONE OF THE RIGHTS IDENTIFIED IN THE UDHR AND CREATE A 60-90 SECOND PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT THAT INCLUDES:
What is the selected human right and why is it important?
How is this human right being denied for some?
What might it be like to be denied this right?
What can be done to help others achieve their rights?
Why is it important that everyone achieve their rights?
Submission Period
Entry submission starts at 06:50 PM Aug 31, 2016 and ends at 12:50 AM Apr 07, 2017.
Voting Period
Voting starts at 02:50 PM Apr 23, 2017 and ends at 02:50 PM Apr 29, 2017.
